Ahh, another year has passed!
Ringing in the New Year I'm finding myself a little hung over from a busy year with 3 kids (4 and under), a new business venture, participating in craft shows (a first!), and many other firsts and trials. Phew, I'm happy for some down time to hang with the family. While we are all knee deep in snow, it's nice to have the chance to stay indoors, think up some adventures with the kids and in my case, lots of food making.
Another benefit to some slow time will be to organize my work space, effectivley clearing up my creative mind to give myself the chance to work on some new projects. With all the fabric I've had exploding about me in the midst of creating, I've been feeling a bit bogged down by the chaos. After spending some time looking over old sketch books I'm happy to pack away the sewing machine (just for a little while!) and work on a project I've had percolating for almost a year now. Not ready to reveal any details just quite yet..
Also keeping me up late at night has been lying in bed imagining what I'll get up to in the doll department for spring. Lambs, sunny dresses, bunnies, cuddly lions, maybe some flowers. Can't wait. :)
